Zwift levels
As you all know, Zwift has levels. And, when you hit a new level, there’s usually a reward. Today I’m going to share with you the rewards I got for hitting level 8 and 9…Zwift rider levels are important. They dictate how much bonus power we get when helping another rider finish a race or ride as well as how our incomes are calculated. So it’s fair to ask what the rewards are for levelling up….There is something quite satisfying about progressing through the levels in any game – be it Candy Crush or World of Warcraft. In virtual worlds like Zwift, this progression can give us bragging rights amongst friends and motivate us to keep on pedalling.
When you hit Level 8 in Zwift, you unlock the ability to join casual rides without waiting in line. Plus, your income from fans also increases by 25%. When you hit Level 9, you receive the coveted “Z-Ray” sunglasses which provide performance data during rides (speed, cadence etc).
What are zwift levels and how do they work?
Zwift levels are the different stages that you can ride or race at on Zwift. There are currently six levels, from Apprentice to Elite. You start at Apprentice and move up through the levels by completing certain tasks, such as riding a certain distance or reaching a certain average speed. The level system is designed to give everyone a fair chance to win, regardless of their experience or ability.
The tasks required to move up through the levels get progressively more difficult as you go, so it’s not easy to just power through them. You’ll need to put in some serious training if you want to make it to Elite.
